Cowboys Bus Crash
Just read about this tonight.

Saw it on the news. It was the newer Cowboys’ bus that was involved. Story only said the bus collided with a van, and gave no indication of the cause. Unfortunately, four people were killed in the van.

That is the Cowboy’s new Marathon bus. It is always parked and maintained at Marathon Coach in Grand Prairie when not in use.

Latest, the van was attempting an
illegal left turn to go south on hwy 95 when Dallas Cowboys bus slammed into it. So sad -
Very sad, once again shows the strength of the Prevost chassis and the safety of the coaches….I cant imagine that with any other chassis out there….

If that is a new coach as stated above, it had every device known for accident avoidance and stability to minimize chances of an impact or roll over. Before the driver could have reacted the system would have applied the brakes and the stability control likely would have applied braking to whatever wheels were necessary to minimize the chances of a roll over.
But as we are seeing with self driving cars some accidents cannot be avoided.

The Marathon Cowboy’s bus apparently has been repaired, and looks no worse for wear. It is sitting here at Marathon Grand Prairie.

I’m sitting at Marathon tonight–relocated here from Prevost last night. They fixed my Raspberry and replaced the bedroom Cruiseair. I’ve bounced between Prevost and Marathon for the last week lightening my wallet, so I’ll be heading back to San Antonio tomorrow morning–Margrit is getting lonely–couldn’t bring her due to medical and dental appointments. Sorry to miss you–hope to see you on the road at a later date! -

Tim,
Rasberry is the slang name. It is actually Raspie. I believe it works as a translator from the computer to the display. Turned out to be a 12v to 5.5v transforrmer that went out.
