    We have been there and we were pretty disappointed. Most of the time the planes are so far away you really can’t see what’s happening. It was fun to see some of the planes when they were parked but the race itself was pretty anti-climatic (IMHO).

    I don’t know about parking on site as we were already in the area parked at a local casino campground.

    Thanks! I had a friend who was crew chief for one of the unlimited planes. After the accident his employer sold the plane. Didn’t get there while he was there. One of the things I’ve always wanted to see. I suspected the planes were a long ways away.

    That’s disappointing, like Dick I always wanted to go there.
