    Dryer Maintance

    A little over a year ago I replaced my old dryer Saver 1000 dryer if I remember rite, Replaced it with a Bendix AD-9 dryer24v heater, Probably don’t have to many miles on it, how often should I replace the cartridge in it, is it a time thing or miles? We live in a dry climate but do like beach towns. Prevost has dryer parts on sale rebuilt cartridge OK ??

    Art, none of us exposes our dryers to anywhere near the moisture they could get in commercial service, but regardless I swap cartridges every 2 years.

    I have NEVER gotten moisture from beyond the wet tank, and on those couple of occasions when I did get some from the wet tank it was an insignificant amount. Maybe a tea spoon. Most of the time when I drain tanks, including the wet tank they are bone dry.
