Brake release noise??
When brakes are released you hear air release from brake valve exhaust, But there is also the noise that sounds like a duck,When the brakes release, It that coming from the Quick Release Valve from front brakes or from the rear R12 relay valves

Mine does the same thing in the front. I replaced my QR-1 in hopes of getting rid of it, but it didn’t help. I read somewhere it is the Brand of QR valve that does it.

I replaced QR valve and treadle valve 4 years ago and it was there, I just rebuilt treadle valve and it is not there??

I even purchased a set of quick exhaust valves to use instead of the QR-1 just not sure if i want to modify anything on the braking system yet. Technically they will do the same thing.

I’m going to replace the OEM front Bendix Quick Release valve QR-1 Bendix part # 229859N, It’s funny same part# but one says 0- PSI DIFF and another says 1-PSI max DIFF, Looking at specs it says 0 psi crack pressure?? Mike looking at those valves you bought, are they suppose to release quicker? 1 per side?

My plan is to remove the brake line on each canister, screw these in then put the brake line into this. I was going to leave the QR-1 in place for now.
