Aux air-pressurepro
I have been thinking about something Tom said in another post. “Aux air gauge is an important gauge to monitor air problems. My coach does not have an aux air gauge. Since i am getting ready to order a Pressurepro system i had an Idea. Would it make any sense to order an extra sensor and incorporate it into the aux air system with a T and shrader valve? Does the system update often enough to indicate that the aux circuit is cycling? Would nuisance alarms be a problem? Where would one set the alarm parameters if this is a viable plan? If this idea is bad i will do the double gauge swap that was outlined in a post by lonesarace last year. Thanks for any input.

I think it would work, but the problem is instead of seeing an analog needle swinging up and down, you would have to watch digits going up and down and the display doesn’t stay on for a long time on my Pulse.

Hmmm. So the display times out and goes dark? I thought you could view your pressures continuously. That changes things. Thanks Jon.

There is nothing as easy to interpret as a gauge with a needle. A glance tells you the needle is in a different or the same position as the last time you looked at it.
Reading numbers is OK, but nowhere near as easy to see a trend or movement unless you focus completely on the numbers as they go up or down. Not good when you should be watching the road and your instrument scan needs to take place in seconds so you are alert to what is happening on the highway.

You could try it, the aux would have to be setup as a separate axle and whether you could get the alerts turned off or adjusted for that separate axle is unknown. You already have a shrader valve in your steering bay for your aux air fill, so that part would be easy. The only one that would work for you is the FX as it’s display could be viewed full time on your mobile device. The Lagacy and Pulse monitors go to sleep.
My suggestion like others is an aux gauge, easy to use view.
