This coach has 2 Shuflo water pumps is that necessary ? Or can I remove both pumps and install 1 good high flo pump?

I put them on a switch so I could have one on and other off that way if one failed I had a spare , it’s hard to get fittings for that grey quest pipe it is the same outside dimension as pex but it has a thinner wall than pex so fittings will go in pipe but hard to clamp it , pex fittings are just a little smaller outside dimension so sometimes when you go to put a cinch clamp on ,it can crack the pipe be very careful working on it , I replaced a lot of it with pex

the shure flow pumps work great and since you have two is even better always have a spare just flip the switch

You can use Shark Bites to connect Pex to the grey Quest. Peter is right on, the Quest parts are obsolete.

I’m sure you can convert, but you’ll lose the reduncancy factor of having two pumps.

Whatever you choose, just make sure you have thought it through. It is likely the Shurflo are DC powered. If you want a large pump you have to bring 120AC. Whatever you choose make sure you decide if having back up is important. If you have more than one pump decide how you are going to run one or the other. If you run both at the same time figure out how you know one has failed.

I have 2 old Shrflo pumps with accumalator tank and it seems that they run more that I’m use to, I had In old coach was a Shuflo 5.7 smart pump it was variable speed, great pump but they don’t make it any more, In a 12v pump I wonder what is compreble to that 5.7 variable speed pump? and as far as having a back up I would carry a spare pump.
Also Flar-it I like it better that shark-bite because Flair-it is an compression style fitting and it works well on both Quest or Pex.
