Fresh Water Tank Monitor
The last few times I hit the “Auto-Fill” to fill the fresh water tank, it stopped at 78%.
Is there anyway to adjust the Auto-Fill, or would this be a sensor issue on the Fresh water?

Which fresh water monitor system do you have on tank ? Electronic or air pressure ?

The Marathon owner’s manual says that the auto-fill will only fill the tank to 79% and is shut off by a sensor located on the tank at that level. The auto-fill valve has been known to fail to completely close, so it is a good idea to add a pressure control valve (40psi) to the fresh water supply inlet hose and turn off the manual water supply valve after filling the tank. If you want to fill the tank to completely full, you can finish filling through the blue manual fill cap located in the upper right hand corner of the water bay.

Since the autofill is controlled by Techlink, you may not be able to adjust the percentage. Mine doesn’t work, so I put in a manual switch for filling and shut it off when the water comes out the overflow assuring 100% full. You may want to talk to Leon.

Leon is certainly an option or I could re-boot my tech link system since I installed an “on/off” switch. I could always fill they the gravity fill side. I just like my water going they the whole house filter first to avoid any sediment getting in the fresh water tank. -

My problem is the Node Relay for the auto-fill, so temporarily, I ran power to the fill solenoid with a switch taking the auto-fill out of the loop. It works just like the auto-fill, city water running through the filter.

Tim…..behind this circle cover are 3 small pumps. This access cover is removable where pumps sit on a ledge.

Are the pumps like the pump for an aquarium? I have the same set up and was wondering what the pumps
are for.

Yes, aquarium pumps, 0ne (1) each for gray,black, fresh water. Pumps can be rebuilt with available kit. I found a complete pump on e-bay for spare.
This was operating system on my 2000 Marathon #591. Have no idea when this set up was changed.

Tim I have the aquarium pumps as well and have had them work on twice with no luck. I talk with Bob at Marathon FT Worth and he is going to install the same system that is on the new Marathons. It is 10 pads that mount on the outside of the tank and can, supposedly sense the slightest pressure changes inside the tank and read out in 10% increments. Once the new sensors are on the tanks, they get calibrated to use the tech link in the bus, and hopefully fix my system never reading tank levels.

Is your tank metal or plastic? Our monitor quit working and we would like to replace it without having to mess with an internal sensor. I checked into the See-Level system, but it only works on plastic tanks. If this system works on metal tanks, can you find out the manufacturer? Thanks!

My tanks are definitely plastic tanks, which as you said the system, I believe only works on the polyurethane tanks. I will let you know if it works as advertised. I take in in next week to have it installed.

I am in the process of installing See-Level tank monitors on our tanks. I would
like to know how you have yours wired in. I am putting one in the bathroom so
we can have a pump switch there. We do not have a pump switch there now.
Any info on how the displays are wired and where and how you get the
momentary pump switch to work with the 110 volt water pump.
