  • Flapper won’t move Microflush LF-210

Posted by Cathy & John on May 4, 2014 at 5:20 pm

We’re having a problem with our Microflush LF-210. I’ve noticed quite a few posts about the toilet, none of them good!

It started to have a delay in opening, then the amount it opened became less and less to the point that now it doesn’t open at all. We can manually open it, but that’s not a solution either of us is fond of! Any ideas? We’re considering getting it replaced when we head to Signature Coach for some other things in June, but we’ll need some kind of interim solution!

I think these are most likely the parts you will need. I think the same for 210 or a 220.

The flapper should never move manually, it is connected to a square shaft that has a cam on the end of it and is turned by the little motor behind the toilet and under the cover.

The toilet has to come out to fix it so be very careful not to damage it. They aren’t made anymore and a new one is over a thousand dollars.

This last picture is the service kit to replace the flapper.

I got the electric LF-220. It is all jacked up! The folks at Ed Mullaney were very helpful. Even to the point of telling me upfront that it could cost $50 or $1000! No way to tell until we were in there. So I am pulling it out and replacing it with regular toilet. Looking at the Aqua Magic and a couple of others. I need bone color, china, high profile, with water saver. Any suggestions are appreciated. Don’t need $1000+ toilet. Just something that is fairly nice and works. I think the Aqua Magic V was about $330.
