  • Hurricane Heater

Posted by Charles E. (Buddy) on October 15, 2021 at 5:36 pm

If someone has a Hurricane heating unit in their coach would you tell me does it have it’s own hot water tank for the house or does it circulate the enclosed coolant to individual water heaters.

    Is it like and AquaHot.

Buddy I once owned a Prevost Country Coach with the hurricane heater. It operated just like the webasto. Heated all the water when on.

    Buddy,

I hope all is well with you. My 2002 CC has a Hurricane. It circulates heat to the coach, like a Webasto, but only adds heat to the separate house water system by a heater exchanger. The Hurricane website has good information and I think I recall a way to download manuals. If it helps you I can email a copy of mine. It covers Model CO20, CO32, CO45(mine), CO65, C085 and CO105. If the system you are helping needs it, Hurricane had a return and rebuild program available the last time I was on their site.

Thanks George, it belongs to a friend here at home so when I get ready to look at it I’ll go to their web site.
