  CruiseAir cycling off & on

  Used my front CruiseAir last week and it worked fine. Had to replace some leaking air fittings up above the rear CruiseAir unit in the front bumper area. Rotated the front CruiseAir unit out and repaired air leaks, rotated the front CruiseAir unit back in and tested it. Front CruiseAir now cycles on for 2 minutes and off for 1 minute. There is no cooling from the unit now, but compressor cycles in and out and run amps are 11-12 during the 2 minutes the unit runs. There are no fault codes on the display.

  I am guessing rotating the unit out and back in must have caused a leak, just guessing. Any thoughts.

  I have a CA that leaks 1/2 to 1 Lb each yr. When its low it doesn’t cycle on and off. It runs normal, but doesn’t get cold.

  Hummm:

  It is not getting cold and cycling off and on. Sounds like I may have multiple issues.

  Sounds like your low on Freon chuck. That can cause the on and off
