CruiseAir Temp differential
What is the normal temperature differential between the inlet and outlet vent on a CruiseAir unit? My coach is in the shade in a garage and I am only seeing a 10 deg temp difference. Some where in the back of the old brain I think I remember a CruiseAir system is working at its optimum level when the temp differential is 20 -22 Deg.

I think you’re right. I’ve never checked the Delta-T (but should). We have a heat pump in our house and I am seeing about 24/25*F Delta-T. I wonder what Fred at AAP would say is a good Delta-T.

20 degrees is the normal number quoted. I have never found anything about a Cruisair to be normal.

I asked Fred Pickering from AAP the Cruise-Air expert that question. This was his answer: “On a warm summer day, let’s say 80-90 degrees and high humidity, we would expect to see anywhere between 14-18 degrees differential, which would indicate the system was charged correctly and operating to the best it could.”
