  1992 Prevost Liberty XL with Bad AC Compressor

  Hello, I need advise and help on this please.

  We own a 1992 Prevost Liberty XL with a AC compressor which has locked up, the only real marking on it is the follwoing:

  United Technolgies Carrier Transicold, part number 6802-274-6

  Looking to get this one refurbished or buy a refurished a new one.

  This can be purchased through Prevost or sometimes get a deal from a local carrier dealer as they use these in many other applications like refrigerated semi trailers. Typically you get a rebuilt unit. Getting one you purchase through Prevost it has a 6 month warranty…..Much work to clean out the lines and replace the dryer…
