110v Heater
I have the original build sheet for my bus. It says that I’m supposed to have to 3 110v heaters. I know where two are, but cannot locate the one in the cockpit, which is supposedly only put on H models. Any Marathon H owners who would know if the H’s were indeed equipped with a 3rd 110v heater in the cockpit? I’ve tried testing the SMX with a Double tap to the SMX to locate the 110v heater but to no avail.

No kick heater up front Tim. I have one in the galley contolled by the SMX and one in the bathroom contolled by a Techlink button with the thermostat on the face of the kick heater. It would have been nice to have one up front.

On ours, there is a 110 V heater all the way at the bottom of the center instrument stack. It is controlled by the SMX control beside the passenger.

Per, My passenger SMX controls the Webasto heater which comes out in the middle stair going into the salon. I don’t have 110v there. Only in the galley (SMX controls) and bathroom which has its own thermostat.

Tim, I also have a 110 V heater in the bedroom under the sink, but so far I’ve been unsuccessful getting it working.

The 110v heater in my bathroom is controlled by the button/switch on the side of the wall with the light switches near the sink.

I’ve got the same set-up as you other Marathon guys but rarely use them as they are really not that effective in my coach. Webasto is where its at!

Yes, the bathroom toekick heater has it’s own switch. The one I can’t get to come on is under the bedroom sink–I wasn’t clear on that point. -

I don’t have a sink in my bedroom so your set-up is a little different. Maybe Al will weigh-in…

Find the breaker for that heater in the twin fuse/breaker panel compartment. With that switched on you can adjust temp setting on face of heat panel.
Check for lint build up inside heater visable with a flash light.

Which panel is that? All the CBs in the breakeer boxes above the bedroom sink are on, and nothing is tripped in the panel next to the bed, and the SMX panel appears to work–at least as all the front functions on the panel are concerned. Wil take the coach to Ft Worth (Prevost/Marathon) later this week to work the issues we have. -

The breaker panel switches “on” find the switch marked “bath heat” on red/green push buttons.
If you do not have a temp adjustment on the kick-heater ….. Heater is controlled by the SMX control panel.

The Cadet heaters have a thermal breaker on the heater itself. If a piece of carpet or something was put up against it while it is operating the breaker will trip to prevent a fire. You can see the resetable breaker by looking at the fron of the heater with a flashlight. It can be pushed to reset.
