  • Newbie SMX issue

Posted by Chris on December 10, 2014 at 10:35 pm

On my second short trip in my new to me 2007 Marathon H3 – 45 (first Prevost after a couple of plastics). The coach has the usual 4 SMX controls. Three of them are working fine. The one that is to the left of the door when entering the bedroom is dark, I assume with no power. All the others work fine.

My question is where should I look to see if a breaker/fuse is thrown. Everything on the control panel in the bathroom is active. Bus is plugged into 50amp service with inverters showing normal. All three of the other zones are working normally. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When you push your bedroom power button on the lower dash in front does it light up? Or the button next to your bed?

hit the bedroom A/C button next to the bed and it energized. Thanks! I feel stupid it was that simple but I’m still learning all the systems. Again, thank you.

Nothing “stupid” about that my friend… “stupid” is NOT having the sense to ask… with multiple switches everywhere you look it’s not surprising at all !!

    Ask away !

Ditto what Diane said. If everybody that owns a coach would ask that very type of question there would be a lot less of us driving around still trying to figure out how to make something on our coaches work.
