DIY CruiseAir tune up/charge tools needed?
I would like to tune up my 3 CruiseAir units in my 2001 Marathon. The galley and salon units are cold but the bedroom unit is blowing hot. What type of freon and gauges do I need and what over tools are needed? I would like to make a nice kit so I am able to diagnose and repair the units on the road if needed in the future. My Prevost dash air is now blowing hot also, will the same gauges and freon work on that? Thanks for the help. Frank

The Cruiseairs are R-22 and the dash air is 134A.
They are are conventional refrigeration systems so if you have the tools and skills are serviceable.

The most important tool you will need other than the freon and gauges is a service valve tool, which turns the square headed stem valve under the plastic covers on both high pressure side and low pressure. Do not try to turn them with an adjustable wrench! Any HVAC store has them. And remember, to open them turn clockwise, to tighten, counter clock wise.
