  • Cruisair down

Posted by dick on February 6, 2015 at 9:24 pm

    hi all,

I’ve lost function in one of the cruisair units in my conversion. The condenser unit just hums. Is the a start or run capacitor inside? If not I’m going to need a compressor. Model EBO14tx/ACA14BU

Anyone have a good source for a compressor?

    Thanks

Just rebuilt one of ours to use as a spare. Tecumseh compressor(7200)and any competent AC shop can do it.

I replaced one for a customer about a year ago, new compressor, caps etc. was well under $600. Don’t know if I still have part # but I don’t think they’ve changed over years. Prices I see quoted sound mighty high. . . just saying.
