  • Dedicated Plug

Yesterday I wired in a 15amp breaker to a 15amp receptacle to plug in a Dyson electric heater or coffee maker to bypass the inverter, so it doesn’t put strain on the relays on inverter. I did it nice and clean right below another one that does go through the inverter.

We don’t use the InstaHot so that gives me a non-inverted outlet. I have a very short, 20 amp extension cord that I feel comfortable using with a cube heater or auxiliary induction hot plate.

If I was going to commission a new build, I’d place at least one non-inverted outlet forward and another one aft.

Not a bad idea, I tapped into a electric floor in bath put a receptacle there a while ago but I had to run a extension cord from the bath so this will be better.
