Total Shut Down
While our coach was at the Allison shop in Charlotte, NC the batteries (house) totally went down and nothing would operate. After several attempts by their shop I simply gather my belongings and headed to ETLC for this and some other repair items.
When I arrived, Jeff came out and did his magic by doing a sequence to restore the “allen bradley” system?? Jeff made comment that in his career he has only seen this happen 3 times! I guess I am just Special.
Anyhow, all good and to Jeff and the gang; Thank You!

I do not know about other conversions, but I know on mine I would rather eat razor blades (or get a smart phone) than allow my house batteries to go dead.
As the complexity of the coaches increases along with the use of sophisticated electrical systems I think it gets very important to keep things powered up, or to put them to sleep in the correct manner (such as when changing batteries).

I always thought that the control panels in the 90’s vintage were crestrons, but Jeff explained to me that they are Allen Bradley. Crestron was used in later models.

The systems on Liberty coaches have evolved and on the Elegant Lady coaches the A-B system is used either as the sole means of performing switching functions or in concert with Crestron.

Jeff enlightened me to the same fact when we were at Vonore in late December. Allen Bradley boards, and special touch screen control panels … not Crestron.
