Generator start/stop interior buttons not working
Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the problem with the bi-color control panels inability to start or stop the generator. They were functioning fine until a week ago when they just stopped working. The controls on the genset work but not at any of the three panels inside. I have been trying to trace to the relay(s) in bay one (DS) but have had no luck thus far. A fuse somewhere? All other buttons on the panels work fine.

Ok, not sure what your autostart is on your bus, but we just had that. The autostart switch on the generator went bad. Replaced switch and all is good with the world. Same exact issues as you, could start from outside but not within.

The first thing I would check out is the connector for the remote wiring at the back of the control box on the left side of your gen. A pin could very well have pulled out preventing remote switch control. Also, try to start the gen with your #1 inverter. Does it start if you put the curser in the Set Gen menu under On? Does it go back off when you move the cursor back to Off? Remember after you stop the gen with the inverter to put the cursor back under the A in Auto so the inverter can at least start if on low battery.
Try those things and give us a report.
