Two Rear Trailer Connectors ?
Anyone know what the difference is in the two ?

Without specifics this is just a guess, but I can envision one plug dedicated to a toad, and a second plug dedicated to a trailer that might need additional circuits such as for trailer brakes or auxiliary lighting in the trailer. My guess is a rear camera may also have a plug available separate from the plug for lighting.

Could be Jon. Both are 7-point. Schematic only shows seperate breakers for each connector & not what it`s for. I`ll further investigate. Thanks !

Steve, on mine, the left plug is for a regular US tailight set up, (turn signals the same light as brake lights) the right one is wired up for separate turn signals (like the amber European turn signals) which blink separate from the brake lights.
From Vantare, both should have Electric Brake wiring included.
So depending on what kind of tailight/turn signal setup your toad has, determines which side to use.
On mine, the right one also has wiring for back up lights, Since mine was built along with a Stacker to match which has separate turn/brake signals, as well as back up lights.

Tks Jerry, I`ll dig into it this wknd. My trailer has a 5 point flat connector for it`s backup camera, but the bus isn`t wired for it. That`ll be next.

Mine has a round screw on pin connector for the cameras. I have a backup camera on the rear of the trailer, and 2 cameras inside the trailer to watch the cargo going down the road.
They display on a separate screen from the regualar bus back up camera. I’m sure you could wire it up. The hardest thing would be getting the wire harness routed from the back all the way up front.

Now some people might think that is a stupid idea from someone with more time on their hands and money than they know what to do with!
Others, who have had a car come loose in an enclosed trailer or had stuff in a trailer shift, think this is an OUTSTANDING idea!

I have a camera inside my horse trailer that I could switch to on my old coach… I haven’t figured out how to do it with the bus but before I pull the horses any distance I will certainly have a way to watch them… Camera had a mic in it as well so I could hear them if there were problems back there.

We haul our race cars and a bunch of stuff in our stacker and two cameras tell you when something has come loose. Not silly at all.

That’s a good idea Bill , I pull horses about 60,000 miles a year . I tell people to get that if they pull horses it’s good idea , it’s like having spare belts with you !!!!!!!!!

I just got my set up working, its VERY COOL! Camera on back of coach, camera on back of trailer for backing up ( A MUST!) and 2 cameras inside a stacker trailer, one for the lift and one for the floor, its great!
