  touch screen control

  My galley control is not working. I have power to unit. When the screen is touched nothing happens. This is an early crestron type unit. Made by total control products. Does anyone know if they can repair or will I have to send to Liberty. Rick

  Your best bet is to send it back to Liberty. The product is several generations obsolete, but they have an electronics co nearby that services them. I speculate the battery soldered to the circuit board that holds the memory, needs replacing and the unit reprogramed.

  I recommend you do not try to solve your issue any other way. That would be a case of “the cheap man pays the most” syndrome.
  

  The unit is intuitively removed easily. Take a picture of the connections and mark any wires removed.

  Got me unit back yesturday. Liberty sent to a eletronics co near by in Stuart. Don’t know what was done

  exatly but everything works great and the screen is brighter than ever. Cost $300 I am a happy camper again.
