    90’s XL headlights

    Observations: battery charge @ 12.86V. engine off. headlight on. Ck at bulb = 10.80 Volt. Causes old switches and undersized wiring.. Facts at 10.5 volts = 510 lumes @ 12.8 = 1000 . With engine running @ 14 volts = 1356 lumens. Changes from danielsternlighting. relays with 12ga stranded wire from post in front electrical box/ using stock Prevost wiring to activate relays. Example of voltage drop at bulb.. 11.88V = 67% of capacity. I was really surprised at voltage drop thru switches and undersized wire. Easy check for anyone having poor headlights. FWIW Bob
