24/12 volt battery equalizer
Just finished swapping new house batts. 6x8D lifelines , Marathon 2006 conversion, 2x 4000 trace inverters. 2 Sure Power 100 amp equalizers .
big question is how far should the 12 volt readings within the 24 volt groups stray from each other during hard charging , 80-100 amps from each inverter. ? Equalizers appear to be functioning LEDS on /off.
im seeing .5 to as much as 1.0 Volt within the 24volt group.
This is using a good digital meter , Fluke.

Not completely sure I understand the question, but if you are asking about the relationship between the 12 and 24 volt readings the 12 volt should be exactly 1/2 of the 24 volt value within about 1/2 volt.
Without looking up the recommendations to be sure my gut tells me the 80 to 100 charge current is high and too much current can overheat the batteries and shorten there life. Maybe Tom can provide more accurate information than my gut feel.
