    How to Read Wiring Diagram?

    can someone explain to me how to read a wiring diagram.

    I have basic understanding of connections, and wire label , but do not understand what the number highlighted in red circle means?

    Appears to be a Prevost Part Number for the wiring harness

    # Should be stamped of marked on harness
