    I am baffled. Changed out starting batteries, did not cross wire anything……

    Start coach, everything works fine, save the fuel gauge. Started pouring thru schematics and started generator, fuel gauge works. turn off generator, fuel gauge goes home…inop. I really dont want to start the gen-set everytime I want to check on fuel quantity………….. I cannot find anything out of place, fuses, wiring and the like.

    Running out of airspeed, altitude and ideas…..thoughts?

    Circumnavigate due to TRW++

    Haven’t heard of that one Flydude, are you saying once 120v is present then it works? Only thing I can think of is the chassis battery charger doing something funky.

    Nope! I am saying that when the generator is switched on the fuel gauge works……baffled. Takes the gen-set a few seconds to heat the glow plugs plus 120VAC is already hooked up. Soon as I push gen start button, fuel gauge works WTF? Think the Vanner has a dog in the fight?

    Fuel guage is superfluous. Measure quantity based on fuel flow per hour.

    Look for a common ground wire.
