  • Customer Service – Absolutely

Took my coach to Prevost Nashville for a three axle alignment. This was my first experience at a Prevost facility. Due to a scheduling issue and a coach that had unexpected issues my 7 am appointment turned into a 5pm start and ended with an overnight stay. The communication about the delay was a little obscure at first.

Tim, the branch manager not only personally apologized with no excuses but also adjusted the bill to account for my difficult experience. Frankly I was surprised that a big service center would care about an individual conversion customer enough to actually communicate directly with me about a delay issue.

Just wanted to communicate about a service center where Prevost took a negative situation and impressed me with their effort to make it right.

    I’ll add to that…….

I had a three axle alignment done not long ago. What really impressed me was the technician said right up front that he would not only get it in range, he would make sure the coach was in the middle of all measurement ranges.

He showed me and when driving it he made a really good handling coach even better.

The Prevost guys take a lot of pride in their work and we benefit.

i notice that most Prevost service centers have a road service van. I am curious what are the top 5 failures they encounter. Goal is to be sure those items are in my preventative maintenance. Thanks for your help.

Finally Montreal open a service center in sept 2017. had my coach there for suspension problem, change all nogreen valve, air bags, and level low control. Victor the service manager is great and Andrew the mechanic more than great and helpful . 5 star service for this location.

Having been to the Nashville Service Center at least 4x and Dallas 2x, we have always come away both impressed and satisfied. Geo.

Jon: How often do you get a three axle alignment? I was hoping “one and done”.

The experience I had at Prevost Jacksonville regarding my experience with a three axle alignment was similar. I went from fighting a coach that wandered all over the road to one that runs pretty much straight as an arrow. Not only did I get a three axle alignment, the tech found worn tie rods with some play and replaced them on a coach with 73,000 miles.

I have to give credit to the late Peter Campbell for pointing me to Prevost for that alignment. Those are boots that will never be properly filled.

I have gotten an alignment only when I felt it necessary.

Your fingers are very sensitive and I feel the tread on my tires routinely. Things you still cannot see such as a wear pattern from bad toe in or caster can be felt as a feathering of the tread. If the tire is not wearing true you can feel it long before you can see it.
