8V92TA blower bolt – can I remove one?
I’m replacing the fuel line from the PRIMARY (edit: corrected) fuel filter to the engine-driven fuel pump, and there are a couple of hose brackets that are tough to access. They both appear to be mounted on bolts that are a part of the blower, on the driver side. I’m including a photo of an example engine to show the bolts more clearly. Can I safely remove these one at a time to free and then replace the brackets? I think I can do it without harm, but I don’t know what I don’t know. I don’t want to create a bigger job for myself.
I can get to the forward bracket from the bedroom, but the aft bracket is behind the turbo, and would require some real contortion to get both a screwdriver, and a wrench or socket on it.
