  Drive Axle Stabilizer

  The stabilizer cylinders on the drive axle are in need of a rebuild. Does anyone here have experience with this? I looked up the seal repair kit on the Prevost site and the response was “Part 630142 does not exist in plant 177E”, so I shot them an email.

  I’m guessing there is probably some sort of spanner wrench needed to get the cylinder cap off. Any other surprises I should be aware of?

  I believe that you are referring to the “stabilzators.”

  We have them; but they are rare.

  I don’t have any advice; but would appreciate any that you could share.

  ours us disabled – but iwe would like to get it working again.
