  WIF Sensor

  Well, I knew this was doing to happen sooner or later. When I changed the primary fuel filter (Racor spin on) I managed to break off one of the water in fuel sensor wires right where they enter the plastic bowl. No warning light as the break in the wire looks just like no water in fuel but I’d like to fix. Not enough wire to solder or repair the wire.

  Has anyone found a replacement WIF sensor for a Racor S3202? I can’t be the only one that has happened to.

  I found part numbers in the current Prevost parts manual. Might be worth a try.

  Thanks, Tim! I ordered the sensor from Prevost ($70). It is back-ordered till Jan 2019 but not critical.

  That looks like the Volvo engine, and the fuel filter base may be different

  Should be a Series 60. The top of the page says XL series before Y-xxxx which would include mine (W-6332).
