Wierd Trans pad issue, solved?
When I got ready to leave on a trip this morning my trans would not shift out of neutral.
Turn key on do not start engine: trans pad shows ” N N “
Start engine and trans pad shows ” “, and no combination od button pushing would do anything.
After much head scratching this is what I think I discovered.
Turn key on, do not start engine: Trans pad shows ” N N “
Then push “mode” button several times, it looks like it cycled thru three settings:
1. Perf
2. MODE SERVICE
3 Normal
Some how my trans pad had gotten into # 2 “MODE Service”. I did not know that was even possible.
So I hit the mode button until it showed “normal” and started the engine and everything was back to normal.
I am on the road and have not gone thru these steps again to verify the exact steps and wording. A little afraid I will create a problem, so when I get home I will verify all of this.
Anyone ever see this before?
On a side note we are at Bella Terra, Al for the night, then at Bayou Segnette near New Orleans for the next two weeks.
There is a 3 slide H345 Millieum and a Royale XLV in the resort but did not see anyone home.

what happened to your F-150 you had at Branson? -
I still have it. The Jeep and the F150 are both set up for towing. I just tow the jeep most of the time.
