dang paint is about a shade darker now on back 1/3rd of bus where damage was. OH! well if you see a two toned maroon prevost going down the road it is just going to be like that for awhile. Have decided to go ahead and finish the damaged area with off color paint. Better some than none. Don’t really like color anyway. Soooo now I have reason to change color all over. Just sort of venting with smile! Just can’t justify putting a $30,000 dollar paint job on a $25,000 bus(at best) Dang do it yourself guys!!!! Bob

Fog is what we use to call it. Fade from lighter side to darker. Could do it and just say it is trick paint. I’m not upset just sort of smiled when I took tape off. Maybe verticle stripe?? Could say it was glen’s Idea!

Sorry to hear about the uneven paint fade. Have you considered having the bus wrapped rather than having it painted? I saw a few examples on a FB page – I think $10K was the approximate cost of the wrap. Good for 5-10 years. Just a thought.

Got one more area to do. I am going ahead with color and adjusting to situation. About another week of paint temp/humidity for open shop paint left. Will get color on and clear coated then worry about end result. I never liked color of coach so may just change it all next year./or blend it.
