LaBelle, FL
Business took us to the greater Fort Myers, FL area where we
found River Bend Motorcoach Resort. Our plan was to park for two nights, but we
enjoyed it so much we stayed a few extra. It’s a bit further east than would
have been ideal for us, but other than that, it’s a great place to park and
relax for a spell. The sites are wide with lots of privacy and the people in
the community are some of the nicest we’ve met.http://www.riverbendflorida.com/
Regrettably, we’re moving on sooner than we’d like to.

Did you fish in the river Kevin? Riverbend is one of our favorites, but now the monthly rate in season is about the same as Pelican, so they have got much more expensive.

No fishing, but we sat and watched the sunset on the dock
and the fish were absolutely jumping. We’ll have to try Pelican before we head
back west. -
Been to Riverbend many, many times…the last time we stayed for a month! Great people, nice sites and we love the on-site bar and restaurant. Every Sunday they run the model train for all to see and it is a hoot. This is also a great place for rallies. I think we are going back this winter in January while I’m having my site in St. Augustine re-paved.
