The First Somewhat Frequent Busapalooza is in the history books. We had a great turn out with 8 buses in attendance, three more owners without their buses and a total of 31 people.

The man, the myth, the legend Rudy Leggett (Mr Webasto and/or Mr Aquahot) had to be the most popular attendee at Busapalooza. I don’t think he got a chance to breath from everyone asking questions. He even worked on several buses while he was there as a tutorial with other owners watching intently. He also brought his bride Carolyn which made it even more fun. What you don’t see in this picture is the five people sitting around him (look at reflections in Corey’s bus) peppering him with questions.

Are we getting another event in 2023? I missed the last one.

Apparently this event did happen in 2023, on Nov 9-12 in Brenham, TX. The organizers have chosen to not announce on Prevost Community, and only on Facebook/PoG.

Andrew… Loc told me he did post it here on PC and it was removed by admin despite it having been previously approved. And also despite the fact it is a 100% not-for-profit event – just a gathering of like minded folks. The only cost is each person pays for their own campsite. Here is the announcement for the 4th get together. ALL ARE WELCOME.

I know as a new member to this group and POG I am not with all info on the ill feelings generated in the creation of an similar group. Yet in todays world there are always those that think they have a better mouse trap.
Many times the creation of another group create growth of the individual groups in their effort to serve their members.
If in fact the post of Buspoloza was removed from this forum I fee that there needs to be a explanation by the forum and to the reason and circumstances.
Internal dislike is not beneficial for the forum and growth of the forum.
We see public protest by many that don’t have the facts and it is destroying our every day freedom and ability to speak freely.
This is not political but to the very fiber of how we as individual respect opinion and relationships of others

This does happen from time to time on most online forums. No reason to be discouraged, just keep the bus content flowing.
