Need Cockpit Floor Pictures
I am greatful to several members for alerting me that I can’t run hardwood under my brake pedal as it can’t be raised any higher. So I will need to transition from hardwood to carpet in front of my driver seat.
If your XL transitions from wood to carpet at the cockpit – would love to see some photos to see how they trimmed it!

Don’t carpet the area in front of the seat. Run your hardwood right up to and around the pedals. Just use a section of carpet or nothing. If you don’t do anything, just paint the section without hardwood flat black. You can trim around the pedals instead of just stopping the hardwood at and around them or just leave the open area without “framing” it.
That is how I did it on my 97 and that is how it was done on my current coach.
Carpeting in front of the driver will get soiled real quick and hard surfaced flooring will clean easier and last longer.
