    Towing a F 150

    98 XL 45

I know the length from axle to hitch makes a difference in Toad tracking.

How much does the toad track inside the bus on a 90 degree turn to right?

    Any pointers on making turns.

With our Toyota FJ, none or almost none. If the bus rear tires misses a curb, the FJ misses it too.

The longer the wheelbase (and wider the track) of the toad, the more likely the toad will cut inside the rear tires. You just have to watch the respective mirror and learn. You could set some cones, chairs, or barrels up in an empty parking lot and experiment.

Towing an F-150 should require wider turns. We initially towed a 3/4 ton Dodge crew cab 4×4 with an 8-foot flatbed. This required wide turns as the truck tracked inside the bus on turns. Then we switched to an Explorer which tracked right behind the bus. No more wide turns. Much easier to drive.
