Powertech Repair
I have a 17.5 Powertech with a V-2003-t Kubota that has a coolant leak. I think the leak is coming from the water pump as I did not run out of coolant, but I did overheat. Does anyone know of a good generator repair shop in southern Indiana?

Thanks for the suggestions. Every place I called was too busy and I was headed to Eldora Speedway for four days of dry camping. Therefore, I jumped in and tackled the job myself. My generator is not on a slide, so I did a lot of wiggle worming to get the job done. The only hang up was that Kubota has superseded the water pump which changes the geometry of the bypass hose. Capital Equipment in OH was very helpful with their information and parts recommendations to accommodate the new pump. There are two hose combinations that can be used. They sent both which was great. The molded hose option rubbed on the alternator belt, so I had to get creative with the 90 and clamp that made up the second option. Minus a few bruises, the job went well. Generator had 3300 hours at the time of failure. I do not know the coolant change history on the unit, but the coolant was clean at the time of the repair. Therefore, I am setting MTBF on the water pump at 3000 hours.
