I should know this already, but when running your generator, is there a hot water loop To hear your house water like there is with the Webasto?

You must have your hot tank on then.
Or, are you sure you have turned off that breaker?

It could be that the water was simply hot from running the bus, but just checking.

Unless you turned off the hot water loop from the engine, it will be heated to a scorching 200 degree’s.
The only way to heat your water with the gen is the 110 volt water heaters, same as being plugged in to shore power.

question, if i turn off our engine loop(s) , we have two loops, does that turn off the loop for the wabasto hot water? Just curious as we turn off the loops in summer but curious if our wabasto uses the same loops. -
Yes, on mine if I turn off the water heater loop, I also lose the webasto to heat the hot water.

Wasn’t the question if the generator running affects the hot water loop?
If I read it correctly the generator coolant system is 100% independent of the engine or house loops. The only connection the generator has to the chassis cooling system is it can heat water in the HW tank, operate the block heater, and keep the batteries charged so the Webasto or Aquahot have electric to run.
