Marathon Gen radiator fan not shutting off
Another intermittant problem I am seeing every once in a while.
Two cooling fans on the radiator for the gen set mounted in front lower compartment of coach under driver.
Occasionally when I shut down the gen the fan will stay running. Start it back up and shut it off again and the fan will turn off as normal a few seconds after gen shut down.
In the radiator there is a two wire thiermistor. Leon at Marathon figured this might be going bad. Only consistant clue is Techlink will show a temp reading on gen read out when fan stays on, when fan shuts off like normal the techlink temp reading falls to zero just like oil pressure, amps, volts, etc.
So if the thermistor is getting dodgy, not sending a signal to a relay to kill fan that looks simple, but where do I find one of these guys and in a proper temp range?
