E-mail Addresses
Tom sent out a rally reminder to all members via our mass emailing capability. I just got back about 10 or 12 that were undeliverable. That doesn’t concern me an awful lot because the same information as was in the email was posted on the forum. What does concern me is that your email address is very important because that is our sole means of communicating with you privately.
Please make sure your email address is current because from time to time that address will be our only way of communicating special programs we will not post publicly, or to reach you with information we think is important for you to know. We do not have private message capabilities and we do not require street addresses for registering, but just to get your password we do need valid email addresses.

To add to the above, the recent mass emailing did not provide information not available on this site. The email is below if you did not receive it:
Branson Rally Deadline – August 31st
We have 75 sites blocked for the Branson Rally at KOA and after August 31st, any registration will be at the sole discretion of KOA and the site rates increase. We also ask that you pay the balance of your Rally cost by August 31st and don’t forget to deduct the $500 deposit you paid. The Rally costs can be viewed on the site by clicking the Rally Information button.

The last email contact I received was on July 18. I checked in my profile and my email address is correct. When was the latest mass email sent? Also please verify you received my signup fee.

Some email addresses are a problem, but our system appears to be the bigger problem because of so few relative to our total membership being sent out.

Our web guru is going to have to fix the issue. When we were smaller I think everything was OK, but with the number of members now I think the system gets less than halfway through and crashes. It will be fixed.

You might check your spam or junk files too. If you find it in spam/junk, you
should have a setting to allow, or mark the incoming email as not spam/junk. Allow the address and they

Tom thinks because we how have so many members that the bulk mail is timing out before the system can send all emails.
Anyway, it is an issue our web guru has to fix. Remember, this web site is the prototype for two guys who never had a web site before so we are getting some on the job training.
