  • Rear engine bay door

Posted by Archived on March 7, 2017 at 4:30 pm

I am looking for a good used rear engine bay door no vents to replace this one. It’s on a 1993 Marathon XL 40 drivers side. If the stainless steel and plate holder are good I can paint the top and bottom to match mine.

Jeff, If no luck getting a good used one, try IBP in Apopka, FL. If you go that route tell Steve he needs to advertise here or we want a commission.

Hey Bob the price is right it’s just the logistics and shipping getting it here. Would you be able to post a picture of the door you have for sale. Maybe if there is someone you know coming up to Canada and they wouldn’t mind bringing it with them I would pay and save me a bunch of shipping charges.

Thanks Bob sounds good I would rather give a Prevost guy some $ for delivery and troubles than give it to UPS for shipping.

You may want to try Viscone RV, salvage parts house for all types of MH

I checked chart—wow! Might check on your end. Mine is Evansville Indiana 477712. A sugestion is there are several Prevost converters in Washington and Oregon. Also check local for one of the Prevost bus lines runnnig to the tar sands project. There should be parts there. Is your door frame ok?

I have looked up here Bob most of the Buses up here are new plastic passenger Buses or they are old junk that have seen to many salty roads. I will keep looking the door frame is good just cosmetic damage
