  • New Button Added – “Since Last Read”

Posted by Archived on February 28, 2013 at 4:54 pm

Just to make your life even easier, we have now added a Button when viewing a Thread that says, “Since Last Read.”

This will take you to the post that was created after you visited the last time.

You wouldn’t need this Button if you visited every day! Just kidding…. I too have to scroll down to the latested post every time I go on-line, so this will get you to the new post quick.

Karl – Are you out there?

Now how about cut and paste in posts, any progress there?

When you copy text from another source outside the site, you can paste here by using Ctrl V instead of paste. I have just got used to Ctrl C to copy and Ctrl V to paste. Within the site, you can use copy and paste like Jon stated. I can’t tell you why, something to do with the forum program, it’s beyond my pay grade.

So why can’t this be programmed into the functions of the mouse right button drop down menu like those justification commands?

Another question, does the forum support drag and drop? If so, how? Lastly, does it work for hyperlinks?

    Thanks.

I dragged that off of the X-12 site. and tried to drop it on this post. Instead I just got the photo on a new page so I right clicked and copied it and used Control V to copy it to this post.

I am not computer savvy, but It seems I can do what I need to do to paste stuff on the fourm.

After checking some resources, here is a better solution. This provides standard windows cut, copy and paste functions

Use the Shift key in combination with the right click. As defined in the “Mouse click/keyboard modifier combinations for shell objects” of the table of shortcuts referenced below. This is like using the right click in any standard windows app.

    Try it, you’ll like it!
