Marathon Valance
Any Marathon owners know how to remove the valance? No screws or brackets, maybe Velcro, but they’re sure snug and tight.

Do you gave valance lighting?
There might screws on valance backside
Or, you need to remove the shade to expose brackets above the valance is screwed into
Or, the panels are held on with that industrial strength valance, which are a b….ch to pull apart. If you ever have pulled ceiling panel you know what we mean……..an industrial crunch/snap to reconnect

On the Vantare Valance that looks a lot like that…. the patterned insert is velcroed onto the valance… pull the insert off and you’ll see where it is screwed to the wall !!

Tom, will have to look at my 02, but prior owner had it updated to black leather, I notice one screw inserted at each end of the valance, something else obviously holds it on, but the screws probably help and they do not stand out or look out of place.

Mine has screws on each end with small plastic caps covering the screw heads. Where the light cove is I can feel additional screws that would probably take an angle drill to remove. Jeff Rowe recovered mine earlier this year so he would definitely know.

I had to remove one to service a shade, and it was screwed on. Had to use a stubby phillips between the glass and valance. They were angled + one or two drywall screws on each end.

Could Tom be updating the interior so he can make a sales pitch at the OKC Rally…..maybe he has a deposit in escrow on a new one and needs this one gone????

Thanks for all the tips, I’ll check it out. No escrow for me, nothing left, I have visited Jeff too often.
