  • Valid slide zipper

How to fix valid slide zippers. I can’t seem to figure this out. My valid slide zippers are completely unzipped, both on both slides. I’ve inspected the zipper part and it looks right but it’s like there’s no end piece to actually zip it closed. Like a jacket where the bottom comes open and even though it zips it doesn’t close. It seems these are riveted in so not sure if I can replace or what to do. Now it’s freezing out it’s a bigger issue since I can see the outside light through it.

My converter is nashville coach so I’m not sure who to get it repaired from or what to do since not a Prevost issue

Here’s what it looks like. I’m thinking about waiting for it to her warm out so it’s not as brittle (it’s 10 deg here) and maybe using some needle for stitches to manually put the end together and see if that works. Maybe even stich it all the way up and let the slide break the thread as it comes in to see if that fixes it.
