  • Making the coach disabled friendly

Posted by Sharyn on April 9, 2022 at 10:57 am

    I have a couple questions:
1). Does anyone travel with someone in a wheelchair? If so, please post details on how you get the people in and out of the coach.
2). Does anyone drive with Dupuytren’s disease/contracture in your hands? Are there modifications beyond a gel pad for the steering wheel?
Thanks for any info you can post or PM??

    • We have a friend that brought a Bluebird Wanderlodge it had a motorized lift opposite the door hinge ,,call it the a pillar .This lift had a fold down seat and it went up and down you could swivel it and have access to coach floor with stepwell out.sorry I don’t have any brand information, it did through bolt to the coach top and bottom.
