Can I use store bought high quality seating for RV
Can I use store bought high quality seating for RV. I’m confused why I can’t buy a high-quality store bought non-customized beautiful leather couch for a Prevost RV. If I could safely Bolt and Secure the couch to the floor and it’s the right size why can I use it??
I’ve been told you must buy a custom couch and I don’t understand why.
Also can I do the same for a dinette face-to-face seating

Based solely on my experience I can say that is possible, but also based on my experience I am certain the custom built furniture is important.
All three of my Liberty coaches had furnishings that were not only sized proportionate to the available space, it was more than just furniture. In every case the furniture provided extra storage, such as drawers for needed items, the furniture was built over or around hardware or devices such as sound equipment, auxiliary heaters or valving. My sofas opened into beds in some cases. In some cases such as when I had some reupholstered they were easily disassembled so they could go out the door and I did not have to remove a windshield.
If the dinette is a table and chairs, and not a booth you can likely use store bought chairs.

The answer is YES, you absolutely can buy and install and custom furniture you like. As you mentioned, it just needs to be secured in place. Just be sure you know exactly what’s under the furniture you plan to replace. The sofa in our first Prevost was flat floor so no worries. The current coach only has a sub-woofer so relocating that would be simple should it be necessary. Our first coach also had drawers under the sofa and I really miss those as this sofa does not.

Absolutely! We remodeled our bus and installed an innovative sleeper sofa from American Leather. The leather is like butter and the king+ bed is amazing comfortable. It fits between the stock end tables and has never budged an inch. It is designed to come apart to fit in NYC walk-ups so that meant I didn’t need to remove a front window to install. I am so glad I ditched the CC jackknife sofas.
