Looking to replace/upgrade the driver and passenger chairs what do you all recommend? Particularly for the boss/passenger chair can’t keep getting the look every time we walk into the bus.

Olympia Luxury Motorcoach in Murfreesboro, TN reupholstered our seats and they look AMAZING!

Nice looks amazing. What is the coast in reupholstering compared to replacement. I was thinking of getting my wife a chair that is a bit wider since she usually sits upfront with our girls.

Jeff Rowe at East Tennessee Luxury Coach recovered a number of pilot and co-pilot chairs. The ones he’s showed me and the pictures I’ve seen are really nice. I’ve read the foam technology that the upholstery experts are using today can really change the “sitting experience”. Couple that with overtime the foam will crush and deteriorate, it certainly makes lots of sense refoam and recover versus buying new.

Following this post closely. Also interested in recovering, had mine dyed and been about a year now. They still look good but you can see it’s not going to last…

Please follow up with updates on your recovering of the seats.

That’s awesome – I’m considering moving that project to the front burner! What is a good budget number for having both done?

    Thanks

If there’s nothing terribly wrong with the seat (size/shape), I would highly recommend reupholster and especially Jeff Rowe at ETLC. We just bought a coach that he had completely redone and the craftsmanship is outstanding. You would never be able to tell that is was not brand new furniture. We are very happy (the other part of me, we) was simply tickled pink!

We had Stiches (club members) redo ours. Georgious job. Customized the density to my weight and extended the frames so the backs are now taller to match our height.

Hi Ralf – be sure to take a very close look now at how much physical space between the wall and your wife’s current curbside ARMREST exists as a wider chair may not fit OR require remounting of its base to the floor. My wife was interested in a wider seat as our two pups like to sit with her, yet there was not enough width between her curbside armrest and the wall 🙁

There is a double track in the floor that the chairs are mounted to. Maybe some modifications to the floor covering would be required to be able to slide the chair in board.

Jeff just looked at the space and your right it’s very tight. I’m also interested in raising the back support for the chairs as the only go up to just about my shoulders same for wife. Definitely going to have to make a few modifications to get it done. I’m going to have to make it happen for her so I can change all my bay panels to carbon fiber like yours. A deal has been made lol. By the way this is all your fault for flashing those nice panels of yours. I blamed it on you.
