  • Is there a salvage yard for old Prevost

Posted by George on August 26, 2019 at 8:51 pm

Anyone know where there are any 90’s Prevost salvage?

Sure there are some wrecked ones out there with usable parts just finding may be impossible.

No opinion on how good they are or if anyone has had experience with them.

While I am certainly an advocate of using junk yards when appropriate, I would tend to limit that usage to parts no longer available from Prevost or stores like NAPA or the converter.

Window accessories come to mind as a good example.

This is conditioned on the expectation the owner who is buying parts knows what he is doing. I have found almost 100% of what I need on line from the original manufacturer, or have found ways to repair or remake things I have needed so junk yards are a last option, but one I would consider.
