Boy! what’s with this forum? either no body is using or tinkering with their buses or what? Every post I post it’s like talking to my self? What’s UP???? I’m just about ready to give up on it.

I understand Chuck, These forums are the Good old days of Social Media. A place where folks would gather to discuss bus issues and rib each other as needed. I grew up using BBS systems which evolved to forums like this, now we have all kinds of ways folks can connect i.e. youtube, Facebook, etc etc. These forums are not as appealing as they once were. I must add the Wanderlodge (WOG) folks are still running strong from the community engagement, with many big rallies each year sometimes hundreds of posts a day on WOG. I am not sure what the answer is that will bring back engagement.

I read all the posts everyday (or so). There just hasn’t been anything that I was familiar with or interested in. Your Royale coach and mine are so different I can’t provide much help. I am hopeful that when things do go wrong some other Country Coacher will show up with some info!

I got on Facebook around 10 years to look up some old friends and it was a good thing, Then about 3 or 4 years it got ugly to much anger politics and it was not fun anymore so got off and never looked back, My friend got on the POG bus forum and he said it was a good forum, I went to get on it and found out it was a 100 bucks a year to join,I’ve joined a lot of Forums in the past and never had to pay before, I’ve been on the community forum for around 7 to 8 years and that would have been 7 to 8 hundred bucks! That’s a new tire. Years ago a bought a 96 U320 Foretravel and Joined the Foretravel Ownersgroup forum,meet a lot of good people, learned a lot, After buying the Prevostsame thing joined this forum and I’ve meet a lot of really nice and sharp people,When Jon and Tom sold the forum it has seemed to change, and the Pandemic did not help. I have not had a response to a post in a while???

Hey Art, I read all your posts, just don’t comment unless I have some good info to add. I”m not sure why there’s less activity on the forum. Most things seem exactly the same as when Jon & Tom ran it.
I paid the $100 one time, but found POG to be confusing and not very helpful.
FaceCrook is just that, a personal information mining service that tracks and takes your personal information for a nefarious marketing agenda. I steer clear of that BS.

I have a Facebook account but it is setup using my Alter Ego’s name, so no personal information shared. I don’t use it much but use it to play some online games when I’m bored. Is this Prevost Community forum also on Facebook?
I would not pay to join a Forum, so POG is out. What the old saying?…..”I don’t want to belong to any club that accept me as a member.
We are back in Paso Robles for awhile while working in Atascedero for the next month or so. Long round trip commute!

Bill, that is a nice area, my in laws live in Morro Bay we spend a lot of time up in that area.

Nice area for sure. Just a long commute to Atascadero. Wish there was camping in that area. Art lives just down the road from Paso in Templeton.
