I have used Miller Agency in Oregon (A sponsor to PC) for my last coach and my new to me 07.

I think they have placed it with Foremost and I also moved my truck insurance with them.

The temptation to shop for the cheapest insurance can be very tempting, but the wisest choice is going to be an insurance company that understand the difference between a Prevost conversion and an RV . Both Miller and Explorer agencies have considerable knowledge of the market and will only place insurance with companies that understand the difference.

If you shop on your own and do not wish to use an agency such as the two mentioned above make sure when you say Prevost and Prevost conversion the person on the other end of the line knows exactly what you are talking about otherwise if something bad should happen you may end up in a conversation trying to explain why your bus should not go to Camping World or its equivalent for repairs.

I just completed moving my insurance to Miller insurance in Oregon. Because of not having an appraisal completed in order to get an agreed value policy, Miller insured under actual cash value (ACV not a good deal) until the appraisal was completed by automotive appraisal services Mark Koch. Don’t let the business name fool you Mark knows Prevost conversions. then when the appraisal was completed Miller converted my policy to an agreed value policy

The appraisal process was long and time consuming to copy documents all maintenance, and repairs, upgrades, refurbishes, add on’s, 32 pictures. I keep two logs on on all dollars spent on the bus. one a detail of what when and where, and one a recap of same. just copied the recap and a copy of a refurbish we had done. Mark was very easy to work with, did request additional information, But I know that I received an accurate and fair appraisal. and it was above my estimate

    Cheers

When National dropped my coverage through Explorer RV, they suggested Safeco, and I went with them because of agreed value, and OK with a Montana LLC.

    Very easy transition.
