    Any idea what this means

    This is hand written on the bottom the engine oil pan. It is obviously a date for something, does anyone know what it might mean

    The Tech’s initials who had the pan off on that date ?

    That sounds like it.. I have seen that at places that do engine work, or in some cases on the road oil changes. That way they can track back who did the work if something goes wrong.
